The Council Of All Beings is part of our wider Growing Land Connections project within Dudley Peoples School For Climate Justice.

The Council of All Beings will be co-created as a communal ritual with our participants to give voice to our More Than Human Kin. We will gather together for three sessions to embody and creatively represent other life and natural forms that share this planet and give voice in council to their concerns about its destruction. We will then offer the strengths and gifts inherent in each entity to empower us in solidarity and move us to creative action.

Invocation and opening. Invitation to each participant to be chosen by another being who wishes to be heard at our Council. Imagining and embodying the chosen being. Mask making using recycled and organic materials to create a symbolic representative form.

This is a work in process and we are experimenting with this ritual convening for the first time in 2025. This group has now been convened. We hope to develop future iterations of the Council and create an open invitation for others to join in future.
