Emerging from Time Rebel abundant conversations on regenerative ethics this is the moment ‘Growth Edges’ was born!
Growth Edges is a gentle convening of people interested in exploring together the space where different research disciplines and practices converge and interact.
A space of idea alchemy if you like.
<aside> 💭 This is a space for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary exploration and discovery. It is asking: What if we shared, exchanged, cross-pollinated, were in conversation about, our many different knowledges and their ethical, philosophical and applied traditions to see what grows from these thought seeds?

This time is intended to be supportive, creative, inspiring, emergent and applied as ideas are first imagined and then tested out in real life in place. This is a space to grow confidence, ask what you think are silly questions (they never are), co-develop ideas and share where you are at with your enquiry, exploration, learning, or research process. As we break bread together over lunch we will enjoy “shared food for thought” (always grateful for inspiration from these wonderful sessions at Impact Hub Birmingham years ago).
The sessions are held bi-monthly in the lab (201a Dudley High Street) and online. Everyone is welcome. Bring your lunch and curiosity. You don’t need to come to every session. We collectively ‘light touch’ document the sessions for anyone to explore below.
<aside> 💡 The name Growth Edges was devised by Helen Garbett who explained the edges of disciplinary interaction (think about a Venn diagram of disciplines) are the spaces of idea germination and growth. Magic!
